Racing

I have been racing bikes since I was 14 years old and have grown considerably in the sport. I now train and compete at a semi-professional level in the North America. Racing bikes is how I ended up at my college, SCAD Atlanta, on a scholarship to race varsity level racing around the country for my school. I race mountain bikes, road bikes, and cyclocross and train roughly 600 hours per year for this. Some of my biggest results include 5 top 15’s at national championships and a top 10 at an international level race in Midway, Utah. I love racing bikes and training has taught me good time management as well as the importance in setting goals in my day to day life.

Community

I have loved getting others into cycling as well in my community. I started a high school mountain bike team with the help of the current coaches in my home county that now has over 80 kids on it. The youth around me has a great enthusiasm for cycling and it is such a great sport that anyone is welcome to participate in. I put on clinics, camps, as well as coach with high school teams and individuals to help them succeed at their goals and curate a positive mentality in their lives.

Sponsors

In cycling, there are opportunities to get sponsored by companies and teams. I have been marketing myself on social media and with my racing resume/presentations for the past 5 years. I really enjoy putting these together and my advertising and branding degree has helped me gain sponsors and recognition with my peers throughout my cycling career. This has helped me land freelance design jobs and i am always open to helping my friends in their racing sponsorship ambitions.
